Job Description

Office Manager & Personal Assistant

Projective Group | London | On-site (Monday to Friday) | £32,000 - £35,000

Are you an organised and proactive Office Manager who enjoys taking ownership, improving how things work and being at the heart of a busy office?

We’re looking for a reliable, approachable professional to join Projective Group UK and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our central London office.

Projective Group is an international consultancy focused exclusively on financial services. We work with leading organisations across the industry, helping them solve complex challenges across areas including Data, Payments, Risk & Compliance and Transformation.

Working closely with the People Team and key stakeholders across the business, you’ll be the go-to person for our London office, helping to ensure it remains an organised, welcoming and enjoyable place to work. Alongside your office management responsibilities, you’ll also provide day-to-day PA support to the UK Country Lead, including diary management, meeting coordination and travel arrangements.

This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, working with different people and finding practical ways to keep things running smoothly.

What will you be doing?

  • Act as the main point of contact for the management of our central London office.
  • Welcome new joiners on their first day and issue their allocated company equipment.
  • Support staff inductions, including health and safety within the office environment.
  • Welcome and host guests visiting the office.
  • Act as the main liaison with building management.
  • Support the planning and coordination of office events.
  • Assist with tracking office expenditure against budget.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the office and monitor the suggestions mailbox.
  • Provide PA support to the UK Country Lead, including diary management, scheduling meetings and appointments, arranging travel, and taking dictation and minutes.
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative support to assist with wider business operations.
  • Manage external suppliers, including cleaning, coffee machine and plant maintenance.
  • Manage office food and beverage stock, ensuring supplies are well maintained and presented.
  • Carry out stock checks, manage deliveries and order new products for our two office bars.

What we are looking for:

  • Able and willing to work from our central London office Monday to Friday.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to completing tasks to a high standard.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with a desire to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond positively to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in office management, office administration or a similar role within a professional environment.
  • Previous experience providing PA, EA or senior administrative support would be advantageous.

Ok, I'm interested; what can I expect?

  • A varied role where you’ll have real ownership of the day-to-day office environment and the freedom to make improvements and put your own ideas into practice.
  • A friendly, collaborative team and a busy London office where you’ll get to know and work with colleagues from across the business.
  • The trust and autonomy to make decisions and manage your responsibilities without being constantly supervised.
  • Plenty of support from the People Team, UK Country Lead and wider business to help you settle into the role and succeed.
  • A generous training budget and opportunities to develop your skills and experience as the role evolves.
  • A strong benefits package, including a non-contributory company pension, healthcare, life assurance and a range of additional benefits.
  • A modern central London office overlooking the Thames, with great facilities, social spaces and two in-house bars.
  • A working environment that encourages creativity, collaboration and fun.

Ok, I'm sold; what happens next?

If you’re looking for a varied, hands-on role where you can take ownership of the office environment, work with people across the business and make a genuine contribution to how our London office operates, we’d love to hear from you.
