Are you the Office Manager we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others with a dynamic team by bringing an energetic and positive approach in support of our students!

The Victor School is a Massachusetts Approved Private Special Education Day School Program serving students between 6th - 12th grade. Located in Sudbury, MA our schools serve students with average to superior cognitive abilities with social emotional disabilities. Our student’s learning is often complicated by social, emotional, or specific learning challenges.

The Victor School is fully approved by DESE. Our team works closely and collaboratively with families, students, and school systems to provide each student with challenging, college preparatory academics in a safe, nurturing environment. Our school serves students between 6th - 12th grade within a 11-month school year.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $22.50 to $33.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as the welcoming face of the school, demonstrating the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ensure that both student and staff records are organized and consistently updated.
  • Foster effective communication with districts, stakeholders, and families.
  • Manage educational records, encompassing attendance, grades, transcripts, and other related educational documents.
  • Support hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers in onboarding new staff to include running all CORI checks and providing new hire HR Orientations.
  • Create and maintain all staff personnel files including coordination for audits.
  • Prepare and process Payroll Action Forms for all employees.
  • Ensure employees have accurate and updated benefits information and respond in a timely manner to all questions.
  • Provide support to the Division in accessing JRI’s human resource systems including UltiPro, Company Mileage, Worker’s Compensation Claim processing, Benefits, Staff Training Compliance and enrollments, etc.
  • Process applications and support employees and managers with Paid Family Medical Leave, FMLA, Long-term Disability, etc.
  • Serve as a liaison to JRI’s corporate Human Resource department, ensuring the Division’s compliance with all human resource policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership to key human resource initiatives such as open enrollment.
  • Process and maintain all required State and Local Building Inspections..
  • Safeguard the privacy and confidentiality of employee information in accordance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred but not required.
  • SHRM Certification a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • 3 – 5 years prior human resource, office management and/or administrative experience.
  • Excellent computer skills using a variety of applications and programs along with the ability to quickly learn additional tools.
  • Experience and comfort working in a health and human service environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel between sites.
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
