Jellycat is a privately owned design-led, gift brand headquartered in London. We create innovative luxurious products in the soft toy, accessory, baby and book categories that are loved around the world. We have an established and growing global customer base and we work with our partners to maximize the potential and reach of Jellycat throughout, sharing joy as we go!

As we continue to grow throughout North America, we continue to develop and improve the presence and awareness of our brand.

The Office Manager will play a key role in shaping the day-to-day employee experience in our New York office. This role ensures the office runs seamlessly while creating an environment that is welcoming, well-organized, and reflective of Jellycat’s creative and joyful brand. You’ll help foster a strong sense of community, supporting a workplace where teams feel connected, engaged, and proud to be part of.

This role is based onsite in our New York City office and requires in-office presence 5 days per week. Candidates must be located within daily commuting distance of our NYC office.

You'll be:

Office Operations & Employee Experience

  • Overseeing daily office operations, including scheduling, supply management, vendor relationships, and general office functionality.

  • Maintaining a highly polished, welcoming office environment that reflects Jellycat’s brand standards.

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for visitors, candidates, and vendors, delivering a high-quality, brand-aligned experience.

  • Managing office budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective operations through vendor management and contract negotiations.

  • Coordinating catering, mail distribution, and day-to-day office services.

  • Monitoring office inventory and ensuring supplies are stocked and ordered as needed.

  • Overseeing visitor management processes, including logs, passes, and security protocols.

  • Supporting and leading employee engagement initiatives, office events, and team-building activities.

  • Fielding incoming inquiries and managing communications professionally and efficiently.

Project Management & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Supporting project management initiatives across the office and wider business, helping coordinate timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed efficiently.

  • Building strong relationships across departments and with global teams, including overseas offices, to ensure smooth operations.

  • Supporting and coordinating health & safety initiatives, training programs, and compliance processes.

  • Assisting with employee engagement activities and office events.

IT Support & Workplace Enablement

  • Providing day-to-day IT support for the office, including troubleshooting basic technical issues, coordinating with external IT partners, and assisting with equipment setup.

You'll have:

  • 5+ years of office management experience in a fast-paced, professional environment.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities and remain calm under pressure.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business.

  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or in a similar client- or employee-facing role.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create organized reports, presentations, and communications.

  • A high level of discretion, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality.

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

  • A professional, friendly, and approachable presence that creates a welcoming office environment.

  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

  • A passion for creating positive employee and visitor experiences.

  • First Aid training and/or general health & safety awareness is a plus.
