What you’ll do
As the Office Manager, you’ll be the person who keeps our Sydney office humming and make it a place people genuinely enjoy coming to. You’ll work alongside our People Ops Specialist, run the day-to-day rhythm of the office, support onboarding and HR coordination, and lead a series of special projects – including our office move at the end of the year. You’ll be the face people see on day one and the person who knows what’s needed before it’s asked, removes friction for the team, and brings warmth and structure in equal measure.
To make this happen you will
- Own the daily running of the office – stock the kitchen and snack bowls, empty the dishwasher, order supplies and coordinate catering
- Manage the relationship with Mirvac and other building, facilities and onsite vendors – log issues and drive them to resolution
- Lead the coordination of our office move at the end of 2026 – logistics, packing, vendors, and minimising disruption to the team
- Plan and run our culture moments – Christmas Party, 5 Days of Christmas, Superbowl lunch, pool comp and the social committee calendar
- Be the first face new hires, candidates and visitors see – greet them, set the tone, and make day one feel warm and organised
- Run HR onboarding and induction logistics, partnering closely with our People Ops Specialist.
- Step in as backup on BambooHR (our HRIS) when our People Ops Specialist is out – employee admin, lifecycle updates, basic reporting
- Provide first-line IT support alongside our IT Manager – simple troubleshooting, new starter setup, access cards and equipment
- Support light finance admin – invoices, purchase orders, and managing your events and supplies budget
What you’ll bring
- You're available for a 9 month maternity leave contract from July 2026-April 2027
- Previous experience as an Office Manager, EA, Receptionist, Workplace Experience lead, or in a similar operations role
- Strong organisational skills – you can juggle catering, an office move and organising the Christmas party in the same morning without dropping a thing
- Confident managing relationships with building management, vendors, contractors, and a team of 80+ employees
- Comfortable with budgets, invoices and basic finance admin
