ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Supervises business professional staff members at assigned worksite, including hiring, training, delegating work, evaluating job performance, and assuring continuity/back-up ofsite’sbusiness operations.
Maintains site’s business systems and processes (e. g., scheduling, filing, data entry, billing, daily deposits,HIM functions), consistent with SCS’s standardized business practices; regularly evaluates site’s business systems and processes to ensure adherence to SCS’sstandards; identifies and resolves problems with existing business systems and processes and, as needed, makes recommendations for improving existing systems and processes.
Runs, or ensures that others run, miscellaneous daily, weekly, and monthly reports (e. g., site productivity and caseload) and, upon request, special reports (e. g., no-show, billable services by individual staff); assesses validity of reports; when reports are inaccurate, engages in problem-solving to correct inaccuracies
Performs, or oversees performance of, variety of administrative functions, including typing from various sources; data entry, validation,generating purchase requisitions forsuch items as business cards, training registration fees, and office furniture; and taking minutes of meetings.
Coordinates maintenance and repair of work site and equipment and manages inventory of office supplies.
Serves asworksite’s liaison to Human Resources as needed
Serves asworksite’s liaison to Payroll.
Serves as work site’s liaison to Accounts Receivable, performing various billing functions (e. g., grants, case management)
As needed, monitorssite’sfiscal status andparticipatesinplanning/budget development process
EDUCATION
High School diploma or equivalent
Up to eighteen months of education or training beyond high school in Personnel Administration or Office Administration or a related field, preferred
EXPERIENCE
Fourto sixyearsadministrative experience, performing secretarial or business professionaltasks.
Experience supervising others performing similar business work preferred.
