About the role

We’re looking for an Office Manager to join the team at our office in Amsterdam This versatile role is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to join a fast-growing, ‘start-up’ feel organisation that has big plans for the future.

Although you’ll be part of our super sociable and collaborative culture, you’ll be working autonomously in the role, prioritising tasks, multitasking, and keeping our workplace running like clockwork. Because you are the operational backbone of our workspace—handling daily arrivals, facilities, and lunch preparation—this is a 100% on-site role required across 5 days a week (Monday to Friday). Whether you work 32 or 40 hours, your presence is needed every day to ensure continuity. We are looking for someone who feels at home in an international environment and is ready to take full ownership of our daily operations.

You will be responsible for:

• Be the welcoming face of Treatwell in Amsterdam, greeting visitors and keeping our office looking its best
• Manage the physical and logistical onboarding for new joiners (desk readiness, keys, badges) to help them feel welcome from day one
• Prepare our daily office lunch four days a week — making sure everything is set up, groceries are taken care of, and keeping our kitchen happily stocked with essentials and, above all… coffee!
• Organise the logistical and hands-on side of company events — like our annual Christmas party — and help bring memorable moments to life
• Act as the go-to person for all workplace needs — from maintenance, cleaning, post, and supplies to equipment — while coordinating smoothly with our landlord, cleaners, and suppliers, including managing incoming invoices
• Own all things Health & Safety, ensuring we have the right fire marshals and trained safety officers across all floors
• Take ownership of office operations, improve existing workplace processes, and proactively share ideas and feedback to make our physical space even better

Requirements

About you:

• You have a perfect mix of greedy and generous: You spend our money like it is your own; you negotiate with suppliers and you always compare different options. Yet, you keep in mind our company values in your day to day work.
• Everyone knows who to call if something physically needs to be arranged in the office: you! You love operational grit, you don’t take no for an answer, and although you like good planning; a bit of pressure suits you as well!
• It makes you happy to make our people happy You know how to surprise them, make them feel at ease, and ensure they have a seamless workspace. It is your goal to make the workday of your colleagues a beautiful day.
• You are a relationship builder and enjoy interacting with people at all levels, from local contractors to internal teams.
• A creative and enthusiastic mind with an ability to suggest operational improvements but never afraid to ask for further clarification when needed.
• Good level of speaking and writing English is a must; speaking and writing Dutch is a nice plus but no requirement.
