Job Description

Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday: 6:00am Start

Purpose
The Office Lead is responsible for the clerical and administrative functions of the distribution center. This is a diverse role that impacts all aspects and functions of the distribution center through the completion of daily and weekly tasks. These tasks include, but are not limited to payroll, attendance tracking, customer service, shipping, and receiving.
Responsibilities
• Monitor attendance through the Dayforce Timekeeping system
• Track distribution center productivity in compliance with the Save A Lot Pay for Performance guidelines
• Weekly completion of hourly payroll through Save A Lot internal Pay for Performance system and Dayforce
• Responsible for distribution office expenses through the submission of supply orders to procurement
• Responsible for basic Accounts Payable functions of the facility through the submission of properly coded expense invoices
• Control access to various computer programs through the submission of access request forms
• First line resolution of customer service issues
• Manage and coordinate all access to the facility to include associates and visitors
• Become an expert on Save A Lot Distribution policies and procedures and ensure that we are administering in a consistent manner, i.e., job bidding process, UPTO tracking, rebids
• Execute duties identified by DC Manager as high priority including ability to back up all clerical functions and coordinate with all DC management
• Facilitate new hire orientation, process new hire paperwork, maintain employee files and process employee status changes
• Assist with resolving payroll discrepancies
• Generating, maintaining, analyzing management reports. First line resolution of customer service issues
• Other duties include maintaining proper office supply inventory, filing, and completing any miscellaneous projects assigned by management
• Responsible for protecting confidential and sensitive information
• Adhere to company policies, standards, and best practices
About You
• High School Diploma required
• Minimum 6 months in fast paced office setting
• 1 year Payroll experience preferred, experience with Dayforce is a plus
• Proficiency in using a computer including Microsoft Word applications
• Strong experience with Excel, including the ability to navigate between worksheets and workbooks efficiently
• Able to handle fast paced environment
• Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking
• Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills
• Attention to detail and analytically driven
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong credibility, presence, and the ability to influence without authority
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Positive work history including safety and attendance
Physical Requirements
• Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled environment
• Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal
• Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment during a normal workday
• Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
