The Role

As the Office & Events Coordinator at GoSpooky, you’ll be the heart of our Amsterdam office and a key part of the People & Culture team. Reporting directly to our Head of People & Culture, you’ll work closely with Spookies across the entire company from leadership to new joiners and occasionally with external partners and suppliers.

You will make sure our office looks and runs smoothly, feels welcoming, and truly reflects our fun and creative culture. From keeping the day-to-day organized to creating moments that bring people together, you’ll play a big role in making GoSpooky a safe, playful, and energizing place to work.

What you’ll do

  • Be the warm and welcoming face of our office for employees, visitors, and partners
  • Keep our office well-stocked and organized (groceries, stationery, company swag, gifts, package deliveries, etc.)
  • Serve as the first point of contact for suppliers and manage incoming and outgoing post
  • Fulfill office requests such as arranging desks, ordering gifts, and booking meetings
  • Take care of daily lunch for our Spookies and/or support our catering colleague when needed
  • Plan fun parties, company drinks, and outings together with our Culture Squad
  • Support with the set up and management of our studio space (just around the corner)
  • Keep our office organized and tidy throughout the day
  • Foster our positive culture with your can-do attitude
  • Make sure that our office is a safe and fun place to work
  • Help out with other ad-hoc administrative tasks as part of the People & Culture Team

What we’re looking for

  • Around 1 year of experience in a similar role (e.g. office management) and/or experience in the hospitality sector
  • Based in Amsterdam
  • Genuine enthusiasm for this kind of work, regardless of seniority
  • Affinity with placing orders, organizing, and keeping things running smoothly
  • Happy to prepare lunch for your colleagues when needed
  • Able to be physically present in our Amsterdam office 4–5 days per week (32–40 hours/week)
  • Add value with your energy, positivity, and enthusiasm
  • A strong communicator who enjoys fostering connections in an international environment
  • Highly organized with a structured approach to prioritizing tasks
  • You speak Dutch and English fluently
  • Experience with Google Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint
