Our Melville, NY office is seeking a Construction Office Engineer with an immediate need to work on an important NYSDOT concrete repairs project located in Suffolk County. The project has an 18-month duration, and the candidate with join our NV5 team for future NYSDOT, NCDPW and SCDPW projects. Requirements include NICET III minimum or equivalent with 5 years of experience on similar construction projects. Must have previous NYSDOT experience. OSHA & ACI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform office engineering duties on NYSDOT projects.
  • Input daily Inspector reports.
  • Confirm Contractor quantities.
  • Input information into EBO system.
  • Coordinate with EIC, Resident Engineer and inspectors.

Qualifications

Education/Qualifications:

  • Diploma or undergraduate degree in Engineering, and/or NICET III certification with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Certifications/Licenses:

  • NICET III
  • OSHA and ACI training, preferred.

Compensation: $62.00 to $72.00 per hour based on experience

Base pay offered for this New York based role may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
