The Administrative Services unit is responsible for providing office support for the agency such as scanning and processing documents, archiving records, operating the mailroom, and special projects as assigned.
Under the supervision of the Administrative Services Supervisors, this candidate will be responsible for various administrative duties, which include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage collection, sorting, and delivery of internal and external mail across multiple offices; serve as a backup mail attendant as needed;
- Handle physical tasks including moving, storing, and transporting shred boxes (up to 25 lbs.);
- Maintain and monitor Personnel Data Files (PDF) for active Police Pension Fund members, ensuring data accuracy and document integrity;
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies; prepare, scan, and file documents using systems such as the Comprehensive Officer Pension System (COPS);
- Process documentation in a timely and organized manner for both active and retired Police Pension Fund members;
- Track and log maintenance requests for office equipment including copiers, fax machines, and scanners;
- Provide support for special projects assigned by the Supervisor.
This position may require more than ordinary physical effort.

Salary: The hiring rate being offered for this position is $46,500. The salary is non-negotiable.

NOTE: This is a full-time on-site position. The incumbent will be required to report to the office on a regular basis.

1. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of full-time experience in the receiving, retrieving, distributing or disposing of records, archival or library materials; or
2. An associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college; or
3. A satisfactory combination of education and/or experience equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have a four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent.
