Qualifications

Highschool diploma

One year of experience, preferably in Ambulatory Surgery.

Basic computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Basic responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.

Register patients and verify demographic, insurance, and billing information.

Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.

Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately

Coordinate with clinical staff regarding patient flow and scheduling needs.

Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations

Support a positive patient experience by addressing questions and concerns promptly

Verify insurance eligibility and obtain required authorizations when applicable
