JOB TITLE: Office Clerk

DUTY DAYS: 185 DAYS

PAY GRADE: C02

STARTING SALARY SCHEDULE:

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Assist the teacher(s) in the preparation of clerical services supporting the campus office. Work under the supervision of a certified teacher(s)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education / Certification:

• High School Diploma or GED

Special Knowledge / Skills:

• Knowledge of general office equipment
• Must be able to work effectively and efficiently with many people

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

1. Assist the secretary and attendance clerk with inputting.
2. Assist the teacher(s) in preparing instructional materials.
3. Assist the teacher(s) in keeping administrative records and preparing required reports or inventories.
4. Assist with the distribution and collection of student textbooks and workbooks.
5. Assist with the preparation of bulletin board displays.
6. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Frequent prolonged and irregular hours; Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer; steady phone interactions; moderate standing, walking, and bending.
