Job Title Office Clerk
The Office Clerk is responsible for providing excellent service to customers in the Customer Service area while managing various financial transactions, such as wire transactions and bill payments. They are also responsible for overseeing front-end operations, assisting with bookkeeping tasks, and ensuring accurate reporting. The Office Clerk works directly with store management to ensure the efficient operation of the front end, while maintaining a friendly and helpful environment for customers.
General Purpose
The general purpose of the Office Clerk is to ensure smooth front-end operations by managing computerized financial transactions, handling customer service inquiries, assisting with electronic bookkeeping and reporting duties, and ensuring adequate cashier coverage to meet customer demand. This role is vital to maintaining operational efficiency and providing customers with a positive experience at the store.

Job Requirements
Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or cash handling role is preferred but not required.
Skills & Abilities: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions and reports. Familiarity with computer and electronic cash register use. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient front-end operations. Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and cash handling procedures.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities. Use of computers and computerized cash registers is required.
