Cardiology Consultants is located at 400 Nexus Drive, Wilmington DE and provides specialized care in virtually all aspects of cardiology. They work as a team to give our patients the best cardiac care possible. They are dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of our patients particular problems and also their personal comfort and wellbeing.

The Medical Office Assistant II is the first point of contact, ensuring a welcoming, efficient environment by assisting patients, managing appointments and records, training staff, and supporting workflow to deliver a positive patient experience.

Monday – Friday: 8:00am to 4:30pm

Duties / Responsibilities:
The Medical Office Assistant II manages patient interactions, scheduling, records, referrals, insurance verification, and payments, including day-end reconciliation. They train staff, handle inventory, coordinate testing and appointments, support administrative tasks, ensure safety compliance, and maintain professionalism while performing other related duties as needed.
Position Qualifications:
High School Graduate or GED required.
2 years’ experience in a medical office setting is required; 3 years’ experience is preferred.

Hourly Pay Range: $18.19 - $26.37This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
