The Role:
You will have the opportunity to bepart ofa very specialteam for Live Nation’snewestCanadian venue, HISTORY Ottawa.A state-of-the-artvenuewith a capacity of up to 2000hostingover 180 concerts and private events annually.If you are ready to be a part of Ottawa’s most memorable and historic shows,this role might be for you!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage office operations and procedures including payroll management, vendor invoicing, customer service, daily venue operations reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, and working with the showAccountant on event reconciliation.
Coordinate with Live NationAccounting team to ensure show accounting and petty cash controls are fulfilled.
Support theManagement team by acting as a liaison with staff, including productionManagement, and providing dailyassistanceas needed.
Provide hourly employee schedulingassistanceto venueManagement team as directed
Assistin the onboarding process for new hires
Coordinate and schedule vendor services including cleaning, medical attendants, elevator maintenance, pest control, and other contracted support services.
Coordinatematerials and equipment for internal meetings
General maintenance and support of officetech such as printers
Ensure all office supplies are adequately stockedand coordinates inventory and organization of all storage spaces
Main contact for venue deliveries
Efficiently process incoming and outgoing mail and packages, promptly distributing them todesignatedrecipients
Manage andoperatevenue Lost and Found programincluding returning lost items to fans
Manage thevenuegeneral email inbox and phone line which involves addressing guests’ questions, including set timesand eventinquiriesand involving respective departments to address concerns
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
A basic foundationand understanding oflive events.
Understanding ofbasic computer functions and experience with MS Office (Word,Exceland Outlook)
General office experience, preferred.
Fluentin Englishand French(verbal and written).
Experience withticketing& Ticketmaster systems is a strong asset
Experience managing a POS system
Excellent customer servicecommunication.
Ability to remain calm and professional when handling challenging guest interactions, with a focus on effective de-escalation.
Motivated, proactive self-starter who is organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Able to work effectively in loud, high-energy environments.
A passion for live events and desire to ensure every customer experience is exceptional!

The expected compensation for this position in Ontariois: $25 per hour.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Sits for extended periods of time at a computer station or work desk; stands and walks throughout the day; occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.; uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment for up to 8 hours each day; lifts up to 10 pounds regularly; exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels.
