Job Description

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Location: Cape Town

A well-established and growing business within the wholesale and distribution sector is seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to support daily operations and ensure the smooth running of the office environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys working across multiple administrative and operational functions.

THE ROLE

You will play a key role in supporting office operations, administration, and internal coordination, ensuring efficiency across multiple business functions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing vehicle administration, including fuel usage, records, and compliance
  • Maintaining accurate employee records, attendance, and leave registers

    Handling asset tracking and verification processes
  • Coordinating building maintenance, repairs, and service providers
  • Managing expense claims, invoices, and cost control processes
  • Supporting HR administration, including training records and submissions
  • Overseeing office facilities, meeting room bookings, and admin storerooms
  • Monitoring staff wellbeing and general office environment
  • Preparing reports, including biometrics and operational data
  • Handling basic reception and front-office duties
  • Supporting sales administration, reporting, and event coordination

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused administrator who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Key requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative or office support role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience with office systems, reporting, and record-keeping
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general administrative tools
