Job Description

Shift: 8:00AM - 5:30 PM, Wednesday - Sunday

Duties:

· Conduct all activities and perform all job duties and functions following strict adherence to established, company implemented safety behaviors, processes, and procedures.

· Work with plant management and leadership on general administrative duties as assigned.

· Schedule and coordinate deliveries with transportation carriers, pallet recyclers, Rehrig’s Transportation Group, and other customers.

o Process associated delivery paper work such as BOLs, trailer audits, etc.

· Prepare and submit all daily production, inventory, and transportation reporting for the plant.

· Administer daily/weekly payroll, Paid Time Off, employee absence processing, and the timekeeping system. Communicate attendance related issues to site leadership.

· Communicate effectively and professionally with employees, customers, support staff, vendors, drivers, and other business contacts (in person, over the phone, in writing, and via email).

· Perform customer service duties as necessary.

· Assist in completing and submitting employee related paperwork (new hire, LOAs, change of information forms, etc.) in an accurate and timely manner.

· Maintain site record keeping and employee files in an organized manner, as per company standards.

· Any other duties as assigned by site management.

· Able to effectively work within and communicate with a diverse team.

Skills & Knowledge:

· Familiarity and experience working in an administrative position.

o Familiarity in a fast-paced, production based warehouse or manufacturing environment a plus.

· Strong analytical and quantitative, problem solving, organization, decision making, and time management skills. Detail-oriented.

· Self-learner and self-starter.

· Strong customer service focus and skills.

· Ability to handle diverse and complex tasks with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.

· Strong verbal, written, and email communication skills.

· Prior Fork-Lift experience preferred, but not required.

· Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish a plus.

Job Requirements:

· High School Diploma, GED, or comparable work related experience preferred.

· Computer literate with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, and web based program familiarity.
