WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role is based in Nike Korea’s Busan office and reports to the Senior Supervisor, Accounting based in Busan, Korea. As part of the accounting team supporting Nike PMO Busan Office, the role partners with local and global stakeholders to enable accurate reporting, compliance, strong internal controls, and effective business support.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, business analytics, or finance operations.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-support capabilities.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on process optimization, automation, and operational efficiency.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will support accurate and timely financial reporting, statutory and tax compliance, and effective internal controls for Nike Korea PMO. You will partner with local and global stakeholders, manage core accounting activities, improve reporting and analytics, and drive process improvements that strengthen operational efficiency and financial governance.

You will:

  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and analytical reviews.
  • Manage statutory accounting, intercompany transactions, and compliance activities in accordance with US GAAP, local regulatory requirements, and Nike internal control standards.
  • Strengthen governance over spending, balance sheet accounts, and financial reporting by maintaining effective internal controls and compliance procedures.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, support statutory reporting, and help resolve audit findings and compliance matters in a timely manner.
  • Develop, enhance, and automate reporting and analytics to improve data quality, operational efficiency, and reporting effectiveness.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and lead cross-functional initiatives with managed service providers and key stakeholders.
