As an Ocean Freight Export Specialist, you will manage export shipments from booking through final delivery, ensuring a seamless customer experience and operational excellence. You will serve as the key contact for customers, coordinate with internal teams and service providers, and ensure shipments are executed efficiently, compliantly, and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end ocean export shipments, including booking, documentation, and transportation arrangements.
• Act as the primary contact for customers, providing shipment updates and resolving operational issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of export documentation and invoicing.
• Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively manage exceptions, claims, and customer inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations and company standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Support customer retention efforts by building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices within the team.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in Ocean Freight Export Operations, Freight Forwarding, or Logistics.
• Knowledge of international transportation, shipping documentation, and customs processes.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and logistics systems.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
