Occupational Therapist Co-op student

What You'll do:

  • Assist conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate sensory, motor, and cognitive abilities of pediatric patients

  • Work directly with the child, his or her family, and daycare or school environment

  • Work with other members of the team if necessary and participate in multi-professional exchanges

  • Provide training to parents, to the daycare or school and to the early childhood educators

  • Participate in continuous improvement projects

  • Possibility of participating in special projects outside the region

What You Need:

  • In progress of completing a master’s degree in occupational therapy

  • Experience with preschool- and school-age children (elementary school and high school)

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Ability to manage administrative records

  • Ability to do administrative follow-up and work with computers and new technologies
