Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA)

Concept Rehab is looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) to join our therapy team in Fremont, Michigan.

What You'll Do

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Help patients improve their ability to participate in daily activities
• Carry out individualized treatment plans and therapeutic activities
• Document patient care and progress accurately
• Communicate with the OT and interdisciplinary team regarding patient needs and progress
• Educate patients and caregivers as appropriate
• Promote safety, independence, and quality of life
• Maintain professional standards and follow applicable state and facility requirements

What We're Looking For

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current Michigan OTA/COTA license or eligibility for licensure
• NBCOT certification or eligibility
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A team-oriented approach
• Previous skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is helpful, but we welcome qualified candidates with a variety of therapy backgrounds
