This unique opportunity is part of the Neurodevelopmental Clinic, an outpatient setting serving children with and without neurodevelopmental and mental health diagnoses. As part of a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, you'll play a key role in providing comprehensive, coordinated care in a supportive, team-based environment.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Excel in providing occupational therapy services to clients and their families in a multi-disciplinary, team-oriented outpatient setting. Clients range in disability type and age from 0-17 years.
- Assist with occupational therapy assessments for clients identified for the Neurodevelopmental Clinic.
- Provide ongoing occupational therapy to clients of NDC at Easterseals Rehabilitation Center.
- Communicate professionally, make referrals and coordinate services with community agencies when needed.
- Maintain appropriate records of services to reflect client assessment and needs; develop recommendations to provide to families during feedback.
- Maintain client documents, collect data and submit reports according to established time frames.
- Attend and participate in weekly team meetings with families and multidisciplinary team of providers. Advocate for families and children with complex needs.
- Participate in ongoing staff training and development activities as assigned to enhance job performance.
- Have knowledge of managing dysregulated behaviors associated with mental health diagnoses and developmental disabilities.
