Job Description

Intrinsic Health Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team on the Sunshine Coast. This is a permanent position, available full-time or part-time, offering flexibility, strong team support and the opportunity to build a varied adult caseload.

You will be based within the Vitality Movement Centre in Birtinya, working alongside a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Exercise Physiology and Dietetics, with access to purpose-built facilities and gym spaces to support functional and rehabilitation-based therapy.

This role will primarily support Support at Home (SaH) and CHSP clients, with opportunities to work with NDIS and private community clients as the service continues to grow.

You will be supported by a dedicated admin team who manage scheduling, coordination and day-to-day logistics, allowing you to focus on clinical work and client outcomes.

We welcome applications from clinicians across a range of experience levels. While experience in adult and community practice is highly regarded, we also have senior support in place for clinicians looking to further develop in this space.

What you will be doing

• Delivering occupational therapy assessments and interventions across home, community and clinic settings
• Supporting clients with functional capacity, activities of daily living, safety and independence
• Completing equipment prescription and home modification assessments and recommendations
• Working across Support at Home, aged care, NDIS and private clients
• Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to support holistic outcomes
• Providing education and practical strategies to clients, families and carers
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives

What we are looking for

• AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist (or graduating soon)
• Experience or interest in adult, aged care or community-based practice
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Current driver's licence
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (and WWC) or willingness to obtain
• COVID and influenza vaccination evidence
• Provider number or willingness to obtain
• Full working rights in Australia
• Visa sponsorship may be available for candidates currently based in Australia.
