Job Description

Our School Services Division provides a range of school support services students in more than 100 non-public and charter schools throughout the Delaware Valley.

We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist for Charter Schools in Philadelphia

for the 2026-2027 school year

This is a full-time,10-month positions

Minimum starting salary $66,500 (salary commensurate with experience)

This position does require you to travel and work with children at multiple Charter Schools in the Philadelphia area.

In addition, as an Occupational Therapist at CORA your duties will include:

  • Assessing, treatment planning and implementing school-based therapy for school-aged children with intellectual and developmental delays to enhance students’ ability to access and make progress in their educational program
  • Treating and instructing students in perceptual and motor activities, and activities of daily living to enhance ability to access educational programming; educating school staff on necessary procedures, special precautions, and safety measures applicable to individual students as well as the student population as a whole;
  • Developing therapeutic goals and completing progress reports; consulting with teachers, parents, paraprofessionals, and others as appropriate; engaging parents to ensure students utilize skills acquired in therapy
  • Adherence to all program and agency guidelines and requirements concerning caseload management, and maintaining a consistent schedule of services at assigned schools
  • Supervising COTA or OT fieldwork students as needed
  • Completing other related duties and projects as assigned or required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited physical or occupational therapy program; Master’s degree preferred
  • License to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Pennsylvania
  • Experience in a school setting
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; ability to establish and maintain positive, productive working relationships within CORA team members as well as with students, families, teachers and other paraprofessionals
  • Demonstrated passion for engaging children and supporting their therapeutic needs
  • Good computer skills and working knowledge of Office 365 applications
