HireNow Staffing is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist for a direct placement opportunity with a healthcare client in Fort Pierce, Florida.

This role is suited to a therapist who enjoys helping patients restore functional abilities, adapt to daily challenges, and build greater independence. Candidates must have at least one year of occupational therapy experience in acute care, inpatient care, or rehabilitation. Please clearly identify the setting of your experience on your résumé.

HireNow Package

• Hourly Pay: $32.62–$48.93.
• Schedule: Full-time days with rotating weekends.
• Sign-On Bonus: Considered case by case.
• Relocation Assistance: Considered case by case.

Anticipated Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and limitations affecting daily activities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable rehabilitation goals.
• Provide occupational therapy interventions that support self-care, coordination, and participation in everyday tasks.
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and strategies for greater independence.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions according to patient needs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team on treatment goals and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Occupational therapy credentials appropriate to the position; specific licensing requirements will be confirmed during screening.
• At least one year of OT experience in acute care, inpatient care, or rehabilitation.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Availability to work onsite during day shifts with rotating weekends.
