Position DetailsTitle: Occupational Therapist (Part‑Time)
Department: Child & Family Services – Early Intervention
Starting Range: $39.46–$41.12 hourly
Schedule: Flexible part‑time hours — you choose your workload at 20 hours per week
Reports To: Early Intervention Team Lead
FLSA: Non‑Exempt
What You’ll Do
As a TRE Early Intervention OT, you will:
- Provide evidence‑based, family‑centered occupational therapy services in natural environments.
- Serve as a primary provider using a transdisciplinary model with strong team consultation.
- Conduct developmental and adaptive equipment assessments.
- Empower parents and caregivers to support learning within daily routines.
- Participate in IFSP development, reviews, and transitions.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and community partners.
- Maintain documentation and support targeted case management activities.
- Engage in professional development, mentoring, and team learning opportunities.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- BA in Occupational Therapy
- Colorado OT licensure
- One year of experience working with infants/toddlers with disabilities or delays
- Knowledge of Part C of IDEA, natural environments, and early childhood best practices
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
Preferred:
- MA in Occupational Therapy
- Three years of experience in a transdisciplinary early childhood model
- Experience with adaptive equipment, sensory processing, feeding, or specialized motor interventions
- Knowledge of Medicaid Waiver programs
