Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist evaluates, plans, and implements individualized treatment programs designed to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and maximize their independence.

You will work with patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, and other conditions that impact their ability to safely and effectively perform essential life activities.

Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive patient evaluations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals
  • Address functional limitations related to daily living activities
  • Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and adaptive techniques
  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and physician teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning

Qualifications

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to develop meaningful patient relationships
  • Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute experience preferred
