SPEECHCOM, INC is excited to announce a full-time or part-time opportunity for a passionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Supportive and Collaborative School-Based Team in the Santa Clarita area of California. If you’re looking to grow, feel supported, and make an impact, this is the perfect place for you!

Position Highlights

  • Rate of Pay: $65-70 per hour W2 (depending on experience)
  • Full-Time: 40 Hours per Week; 5 days per week, grades TK-6th
  • Part-Time: 3 days a week; maximum of 24 hours per week; preschool students
  • Both assignments are in-person

What YOU Need

  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active License in Occupational Therapy (State of California)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and families.
  • Must possess sufficient technology skills to complete IEP documentation and communicate effectively via email.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive student assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance student mobility and daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with other service providers to ensure effective discharge planning and continuity of care.
  • Educate parents and families on treatment goals.
  • Document student progress and adjust care plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
  • Provide support and guidance for students with disabilities and those requiring early intervention.

Required Skills:

Skill in communicating verbally and in writing with students, faculty members, and parents so that all parties understand the program and the degree of progress being made. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:

Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy

CA state-issued license as an Occupational Therapist
