Are you a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist looking for a flexible PRN opportunity? Mission Valley Post Acute is seeking a dedicated OT to join our rehabilitation team and provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay Rate: $60–$65+ per hour, depending on experience
  • Position: PRN / On-Call
  • Flexible scheduling based on facility and clinician needs
  • Opportunities to pick up additional hours as available

Position Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain independence, improve functional abilities, and achieve meaningful rehabilitation goals. Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to improve functional independence and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and achieve treatment goals.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge planning, and home safety.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment interventions as appropriate.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain compliance with professional standards, facility policies, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid California Occupational Therapist (OT) license required.
  • Strong clinical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate, professional, and patient-centered approach.
  • Previous post-acute, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
