Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Specialist School
Location: Ormskirk
Setting: Independent Specialist School (Private Provider)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £44,103 per annum (Dependent on Experience)
Working Pattern: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP or notice dependent

If so, Liquid Personnel is recruiting a permanent Occupational Therapist to join a specialist school in Ormskirk.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a therapeutic, education-focused environment where your clinical expertise will empower pupils to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based OT interventions
  • Assess and support pupils with sensory, motor, and functional needs
  • Develop and implement individual therapy plans
  • Collaborate with education and care teams to embed therapeutic strategies
  • Contribute to EHCPs and attend review meetings
  • Promote independence and participation in school life

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • Knowledge of sensory integration and functional assessments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and therapeutic best practice
