This is a full-time position at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
This outpatient OT position will have a multi‑faceted role that offers exposure to a variety of clinical programs and patient populations. This position is ideal for a self‑motivated therapist who enjoys clinical variety, collaboration, and applying strong occupational therapy skills across multiple outpatient service lines.
In addition to general orthopedic outpatient therapy, this role actively supports several specialized programs, providing a well‑rounded and engaging clinical experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general orthopedic outpatient occupational therapy, including evaluation, treatment planning, and progression of care
- Participate in and support the Pain Rehabilitation Program, integrating functional, cognitive, and psychosocial strategies as appropriate
- Contribute to patient care in the COLTT Clinic (Center of Living for Thoracic Transplants)
- Provide coverage and support for the TOS (Thoracic Outlet Syndrome) Walk‑In Clinic- this is a once-a-month clinic with opportunity to shadow the clinic on May 5th
- Provide scheduled patient care as well as support for walk in patients at the Methodist Occupational Therapy Hand Clinic
- Requires a Master's Degree from an accredited academic program in occupational therapy; or, if foreign trained, graduation from an occupational therapy education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.
- Current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred.
- Requires current license in the State of Indiana.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
