Job Description

Welcome to BePositive Therapy

Where great therapy meets a culture that supports its clinicians.

At BePositive Therapy, we do more than deliver allied health services. We create an environment where clinicians feel supported, empowered and genuinely valued.

As a trusted provider across the NDIS and Aged Care sectors, we deliver personalised therapy and assessment services that make a real difference in people's lives. Supporting clients throughout Tasmania, Victoria and Queensland, we're continuing to grow our Occupational Therapy team across Hobart and Launceston

We're looking for Occupational Therapists who value clinical quality, flexibility and autonomy, while being part of a collaborative and supportive team.

Whether you're an experienced clinician looking for greater flexibility or an emerging therapist seeking strong supervision and professional development, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

You will work with a diverse NDIS and Aged Care caseload, supporting clients to achieve greater independence, participation and quality of life.

With the backing of a dedicated administration and clinical leadership team, you'll be able to focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional outcomes for your clients.

Your Week Will Typically Include

  • 3 to 4 client-facing days
  • Protected administration time for reports and clinical documentation
  • A flexible hybrid work model with the ability to work from home
  • Clinical supervision, peer support and professional development
  • Local community visits throughout Hobart, Launceston and surrounding areas

In This Role, You Will

  • Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments and develop tailored intervention plans.
  • Complete Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs).
  • Undertake home environment assessments and recommendations.
  • Support clients to achieve meaningful goals and improve daily functioning.
  • Provide assistive technology and equipment recommendations where appropriate.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions that support independence and participation.
  • Educate clients, families, carers and support workers.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare high-quality reports and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

About You

We're looking for clinicians who are passionate about improving outcomes for people living with disability and older Australians.

You will have:

  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Diploma, Bachelor's or higher qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
  • A current driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Tasmania), or willingness to obtain.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience working within the NDIS.
  • Experience in Aged Care services.
  • Functional Capacity Assessment experience.
  • Assistive Technology experience.
  • Home Modifications experience.

Don't meet every criteria? We still encourage you to apply. We provide strong clinical supervision and support to help clinicians succeed.
