Position: Occupational Therapist Grade 3

Location: Regional Victoria, AU
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
Salary Range: $103,636 - $122,785

++Relocation support: Intrastate (over 100kms) - up to $2,500, Interstate - up to $5,000, Overseas - up to $8,000

++Accommodation Support: Up to $350 per week up to 10 weeks; or 10 weeks interim Accommodation (if available)

RGH-Global, in partnership with a leading healthcare provider, is seeking Grade 3 Occupational Therapists to join our expanding Rural Allied Health Team. About the Role

As a Grade 3 Occupational Therapist, you will provide clinical expertise to complex cases, lead staff supervision, and drive the planning, review, and implementation of quality initiatives to enhance service delivery. Reporting to the Allied Health Manager, you'll work autonomously, managing a diverse workload in predominantly home-based settings, with no nursing home work. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop clinical leadership skills and gain management experience for career advancement, while adhering to professional codes of ethics and practice standards.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver person-centred occupational therapy services in home and clinic settings across a regional area
  • Collaborate with clients, carers, and families to provide practical solutions for independence and safety
  • Develop goals and care plans to help clients remain active and independent in their community
  • Complete equipment prescriptions, home modifications, and advise on pressure care management/seating
  • Develop in-home and community-based therapy programs
  • Provide clinical leadership, support, and guidance to Occupational Therapy staff
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement and service development activities
  • Support the development of staff competencies and capabilities to achieve optimal client outcomes
  • Apply evidence-based practices and innovative solutions to enhance clinical effectiveness and service efficiency
  • Undertake staff supervision to ensure safe, effective care and optimal client outcomes

Who Were Looking For

  • Qualifications: Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent, with eligibility for membership of a professional association
  • Registration: Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience Demonstrated clinical expertise and experience delivering services in home, group, and community settings for clients with complex presentations
  • Leadership: Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating occupational therapy services, including clinical practice and models of care, using evidence-based approaches and quality improvement frameworks
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including computer literacy and the ability to produce well-written reports, guidelines, and procedures
  • Clearance: Clear/satisfactory National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain before commencement
  • Sponsorship: Suitably qualified candidates eligible for employer-nominated sponsorship (ANZSCO 252411)
