
Copley Hospital, located in Morrisville/Stowe VT, is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team. Our Critical Access Hospital, nestled in the green mountains and home to Mansfield Orthopedics, is looking for an OT to work both inpatients and outpatients. This individual would be responsible for the evaluation, treatment and education of inpatients, outpatients, skilled nursing patients and assists in the coordination of the Swing bed Activities program. Looking for someone to work closely with our current OT to further develop our outpatient and concussion/brain injury program. Splinting, ergonomic and pediatric experience a plus. Willing to train the right clinician interested in joining our team. OT is responsible for coordinating care with other disciplines for effective ongoing treatment. Participates in activities such as in-services, continuing education and Performance Improvement, including peer review. Participates in multidisciplinary team meetings and conferences. Documents treatment rendered according to hospital and or contractual policy and regulatory requirements. Participates in managing inventory associated with occupational therapy services. Performs other duties as assigned. Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.
This is a Full-Time position (PT available).

Compensation: $33-36/hour.
The posted salary range reflects compensation for candidates with limited experience. An offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. An offer of employment may be outside of the posted range based on those factors.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from accredited school.
Education Desired:
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
Experience Required:
Clinical experience in acute or subacute care and general outpatient therapy.
Experience Desired:
One to two years of employment experience including acute and subacute care, SNF including Activity programs, outpatient services. Experience in hand therapy and custom splint fabrication beneficial for coverage needs. Ergonomic assessment and pediatric experience a plus. EHR experience.
License and Certification Required:
Vermont license in Occupational Therapy. Certification with NBCOT. Valid drivers' license. BLS certification within 6 months of hire.Current Vermont licensure in good standing with no restrictions or stipulations.
Skills Required:
Independent in assessment and treatment of all client ages for neurological, orthopaedic, cognitive, sensory, psychiatric and developmental conditions. ADL self care training of acute and SNF level patients. Activity assessment and planning for swing bed patients. Skilled in outpatient musculoskeletal upper extremity injuries and orthopaedic surgical conditions. Cognitive assessment and treatment skills. . Clinical documentation to meet medical necessity requirements, using hospital computer technology.
Skills Desired:
Sensory integration assessment and treatment. Basic hand therapy for post operative conditions, including custom fabrication of upper extremity splints for orthopeadic and post operative hand conditions. Ergonomic assessment and program management.
