Rate: £38-£40 per hour

Liquid Personnel is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic Neuro department based in Essex, where you'll make a real difference in the lives of individuals with complex neurological needs. What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will support individuals and families to improve their well-being, safeguard vulnerable people, and promote independence. As a Neurological Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to adults with complex neurological conditions. Working within a specialist multidisciplinary team, you will conduct comprehensive functional and cognitive assessments, develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, and support patients in achieving meaningful goals that enhance their independence and quality of life. Your responsibilities include designing tailored rehabilitation programmes focused on functional recovery, cognitive rehabilitation, and community reintegration for conditions such as acquired brain injury and stroke.

Qualifications and Experiences:

To be successful in this role, you will need proven experience in adult inpatient occupational therapy, preferably within acute care settings. You must be registered with the HCPC and hold a degree-level qualification in Occupational Therapy. You should demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT), possess strong skills in identifying and managing acutely unwell patients, and exhibit excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
