Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Disabilities Early Intervention & Prevention
Location: Colwyn Bay
Pay Rate: £26.22 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary, Part-Time (23 hours per week, days negotiable)
Start Date: Immediate

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for its client’s Disabilities Early Intervention & Prevention Services team based in Colwyn Bay.
Our client currently have a short-term vacancy for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Disabilities Early Intervention & Prevention (EIP) Services Team.
The EIP Team provides short, outcome-focused interventions for individuals and families, helping them build resilience and better manage daily life and circumstances. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver direct occupational therapy services that place people with disabilities and their families at the centre of decision-making about their lives and outcomes.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Deliver a direct Occupational Therapy service to people with disabilities
  • Work with parents, carers, and families to provide support and build resilience
  • Complete screening assessments and make initial recommendations for appropriate responses to need
  • Carry out safeguarding activity where necessary
  • Ensure people with disabilities and their families are actively involved in decisions about their care and outcomes

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist (minimum 3 years post-qualified)
  • HCPC Registration
  • Strong technology and software skills
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Manual Handling training and experience
