Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant

We have an IMMEDIATE HIRING NEED for the following position(s): Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant !

  • As a home health Occupational Therapist Assistant, your responsibilities will be to assess patients’ condition and perform home health visits while following the plan of care developed by the supervising OTR, document patient care services and progress/decline in electronic system, perform therapeutic procedures through ADL/IADL performance, and report patient progress to patient/caregivers/physician/agency office as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older and have successfully completed at least a FL-approved COTA associate’s degree program from an industry-accredited institution; Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance. Must successfully complete a Level II background check prior to offer and initiation of training. Must complete a competency check and all orientation prior to initiating patient care. Current FL State COTA license is required; Current NBCOT certification is required.
