Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Adults Community
Location: Countywide (Buckinghamshire) (Hybrid)

Pay Range: Up to £33 per hour
Contract Type: Full-time preferred | Part-time considered
Service Area: Communities
Line Manager: Team Manager

Liquid Personnel is seeking an Occupational Therapist – Adults Community for its client across Countywide (Buckinghamshire).
Join a friendly, innovative, and supportive team delivering a responsive, equitable, and high-quality community occupational therapy service to adults with long-term conditions across Buckinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive and holistic assessments of adults with long-term conditions and their carers in the home environment
  • Manage and organise your own caseload, ensuring timely assessments and reviews
  • Develop a strong understanding of the role of equipment, minor/major adaptations, and housing solutions in promoting independence
  • Provide input to OT assessment clinics across the county
  • Build competence in moving and handling techniques, including single-handed care
  • Contribute to OT triage, gaining insight into referral management and innovative risk-reduction strategies
  • Participate in service development, audits, evidence-based practice, and raising the profile of community OT
  • Engage in regular supervision and professional development, identifying and addressing training needs
  • Supervise and mentor appropriate staff across the integrated service
  • Collaborate with health, housing, and social care colleagues to ensure effective partnership working
  • Deliver person-centred rehabilitation and support individualised goals
  • Undertake additional duties as deemed appropriate by the Team Manager

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Experience working with adults with long-term conditions in a community setting
  • Strong understanding of equipment provision, adaptations, and housing legislation
  • Skilled in manual handling and promoting functional independence
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to lifelong learning and service improvement
