Job Title: Occupational Therapist (Adult Care Services)
Location: Hempstead
Pay Rate: £32 per hour

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join an Adult Care Services team based in Hertfordshire.

As an Occupational Therapist in Adult Care Services, you will manage your own caseload and collaborate with health and social care professionals to support individuals across Hertfordshire. The role focuses on enabling people to live fulfilling, independent lives through a strengths-based approach that emphasizes meaningful occupation and person-centred care. What will your responsibilities be?

  • Conduct holistic assessments to identify needs and create tailored support plans
  • Work closely with individuals, families, and carers to promote independence and well-being
  • Assess for and recommend aids, adaptations, and assistive technology to enhance daily living
  • Ensure safe transfers and repositioning, supporting individuals in their environment
  • Collaborate with social care teams, health professionals, housing providers, and community networks to deliver integrated and effective care
  • Stay up to date with the latest social care legislation (Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005)
  • Keep accurate, timely records using the ACSIS system

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration
  • Knowledge of current safeguarding procedures and Mental Capacity Act
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working in Hertfordshire Adult Care Services
  • Familiarity with the ACSIS recording system

Special Conditions:

  • This role requires the candidate to be a car driver with access to their own transport
