Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Canton, GA
Shift: 8 Hour Days (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, varies)
Position: Occupational Therapist – Acute Care
Hours: 40 hours/week
Start/End Date: 04/13/2026 – 07/11/2026
Radius Rule: No local candidates within 50 miles
Department: Occupational Therapy – Acute Care
Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services for acute care patients based on physician orders
Support a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU patients, stroke/neurological, orthopedics, and general debility
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement therapy plans
Document patient progress in One Chart – Cerner EMR
Ensure patient safety and quality of care throughout treatment
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care occupational therapy
Active Georgia OT license required
BLS certification required
Experience with One Chart – Cerner EMR preferred
Certifications:
BLS
