What You'll Do

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Evaluate Residents and patients to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services in inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Help individuals improve independence with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living
  • Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and compensatory strategies
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and caregivers to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Document evaluations, progress, and discharge plans accurately and timely
  • Educate patients and families on maximizing function, safety, and quality of life

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist license, or eligibility for licensure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for serving older adults
  • New graduates and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply
