Priory Hospital Altrinchamhas an opportunity for an HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role is offered on a part-time basis, working 30 hours per week. The salary for these hours is £24,999.
Priory Hospital Altrincham, Hale, Cheshire provides inpatient and outpatient treatment for a range of mental health conditions and addictions, including depression, anxiety disorders, stress, OCD, phobias, PTSD and bipolar disorder. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes serving Rappax Road and Altrincham railway station approximately 1–2 miles from the hospital.
What you'll be doing
In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.
You will also:
- Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate evidence-based, patient-centred occupational therapy interventions to support independent living and recovery.
- Manage referrals, complete patient assessments and develop individual or group treatment plans, maintaining accurate and timely clinical records.
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team, maintaining effective communication with patients, relatives, carers and other professionals.
- Support the development of junior staff, promote high-quality clinical practice and contribute to the growth and delivery of Priory therapy services.

What you'll bring to the role
Essential for the role
Candidates must be HCPC registered and hold a Diploma in Occupational Therapy or a relevant degree (including honours degree, postgraduate certificate, postgraduate diploma, or Master’s pre-registration qualification in Occupational Therapy)
