Occupational Therapist

Position: Occupational Therapist

Hinckley-Big Rock CUSD #429 is seeking a passionate, self-starting, motivated Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates must be knowledgeable in their field, flexible, organized and student-centered. Candidates must have strong communication skills, work well on a team and plan collaboratively with other teachers, related staff, and administration. Duties Include, but are not limited to:

  • Direct occupational therapy to students in a school-based environment.
  • Providing consultation to teachers and families regarding fine motor, visual motor, and sensory motor supports and accommodations.
  • Complete initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students with IEPs or Section 504 Plans.
  • Participate in Early Childhood Screenings and Evaluations.
  • Participate as a member of the Student Services Team supporting students through targeted intervention within the MTSS, 504, and/or IEP processes.

Minimum Qualifications: The qualified individual holds at minimum a Master's Degree in occupational therapy, as well as the appropriate State of Illinois Occupational Therapist License.

Salary: Regionally Competitive
