Compensation: £31,249 / year

Salary starting from £31,249 per annum (depending upon experience and qualifications).
Post holder must be qualified and be registered with the HCPC

Set in spacious and relaxing grounds, Priory Hospital Middleton St George, located in Darlington, County Durham, is a specialist inpatient service for adults with mental health issues, complex needs and behaviours that challenge. We are dedicated to supporting people to transfer effortlessly between the most appropriate care, meeting individual needs, enabling recovery and re-engagement within the community, and maximising life opportunities.

What you'll be doing

As an Occupational Therapist you will manage your own caseload as well as contributing to the Central Activity Programme which focuses on Vocational Rehabilitation. You will also work as part of a Multi Disciplinary Team on a designated ward as well as the within the Occupational Therapy team. The Model of Human Occupation is embedded into the service provided at Middleton St George, and OT’s utilise corresponding assessment tools accordingly. You will receive monthly clinical supervision as well as bi-monthly management supervision.
