Occupational Therapist

• Located in Deakin, ACT, with travel required across Canberra and NSW Southern Tablelands (Company cars available)
• Full-time, Fixed Term Position until September 2027
• Fixed working hours Mon – Fri

What you’ll do
As the Occupational Therapist, you’ll be responsible for providing support to our clients with the goal of maximising mobility and functional capability. In this role, you will provide relevant professional services based on the needs and goals of the individual client.
• Facilitate client assessments and service delivery in collaboration with the broader team
• Provide professional Occupational Therapy services to Uniting clients
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and support staff
• Provice expert advise to the Neighbourhood and clinical team within your area of speciality
• Review and maintain the required client documentation
• Ensure that the client’s voice is heard when it comes to support, social engagement and quality of life
• Maintain a high standard of conduct and performance in accordance with Uniting’s values and policies.
What we’re looking for
• Bachelor qualification in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
• Current registration with the Australian Health Professional Registration Authority (AHPRA)
• Current Australian Drivers License
• Previous experience in Aged Care or similar industry is preferred
• Ability and willingness to travel when required
• Demonstrated ability to conduct health screenings and functional assessments.
