Job Description

One of our clients is in the Health Care industry in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia, is hiring for the position of Occupational Therapist.

Location: Alkhobar Saudi Arabia

Years of Experience: Minimum of 4 years experience.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree (Master's degree is preferable) in Occupational Therapy.

Notice Period: Immediate joiners or maximum one-month notice period.



Provides evaluation and treatment of complex patients with physical, cognitive or psychological limitations arising from diseases, injury or conditions occurring throughout the life span to help them achieve a fulfilled and satisfied state in life through the use of purposeful activity.
Interventions are designed to achieve functional outcomes which promote health, prevent injury or disability and which restore the highest possible level of independence.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assesses patients to determine level of function. Establishes treatment goals and administers appropriate OT procedures.
• Liaises with referring physician and other professionals regarding patients treatment program.
• Develops, improves, sustains or restores skills in activities of daily livings.
• Identifies and facilitates engagement of meaningful and healthy occupations.
• Educates the patient, family, or caregiver in carrying out appropriate non-skilled interventions
• Consults with groups, programs, organizations, or communities to provide community-based services.
• Participates in conferences with physicians, nurses and allied medical personnel relating to the physical, emotional and socioeconomic problems affecting the health and welfare of patients.
• Reports need for new supplies, maintenance or repairs of equipment to Service Supervisor.
• Facilitates a learning environment thought selection of appropriate approaches to learning and teaching meeting the learners needs and promoting a change in practice.
• Acts as resource facilitates communication with patient, family, caregivers, and members of the multidisciplinary team to promote maximum benefit from care and rehabilitation. Designs plans and delivers learning activities and opportunities to, a range of audiences with differing levels of knowledge and expertise.
• Promotes unit culture of quality and safety through implementation of clinical audits and supporting research and development activities.
• Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable.
• Liaises with referring physician and other professionals regarding patients treatment program.
• Ability to use professional literature, evidence based research, and continuing education content to make practice decisions
• Ability to develop occupationally based intervention plans based on evaluation information
• Performs any other related duties as assigned.

 Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

• Must have had at least minimum 4 years experience
• Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
•  Must be able to work as a team with other therapists and must have excellent people skills.
