
Job Purpose
To conduct assessments of tasks that are necessary for healthy, meaningful, day to day living of individuals with severe mental illness and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities. Identifies the impact of an individual’s cognitive, emotional and/or physical disability on that individual’s ability to perform occupations, including basic self-care activities, instrumental activities of daily living, education, work, and social participation. Collaborates in the development of strategies for remediation of obstacles of occupational performance and enhancement of strengths and interests to optimize functioning.
