Location: Oxford, Reading, Guildford or Brighton

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

Salary: £33,000 - £35,000

This role can be based out of any of out 10 south central offices from Oxford to Brighton.

As an Occupational Inclusion Specialist, you will work with employers to promote inclusive recruitment, retention and workplace practices, helping people with disabilities, health conditions and complex needs to thrive in work.

Providing specialist advice and practical solutions, you will support employers to identify and remove workplace barriers, implement reasonable adjustments, and create positive, sustainable employment opportunities. Working closely with Employment Specialists and employer partners, you will play a key role in driving workplace inclusion and improving outcomes for both businesses and employees.

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with employers to promote inclusive recruitment, onboarding and workplace practices.
• Provide specialist advice on workplace adjustments, accessibility and supporting employees with health conditions or disabilities.
• Conduct job and task analysis to identify opportunities for role adaptation, redesign and job carving.
• Support Employment Specialists to match customers with suitable opportunities and sustainable employment outcomes.
• Develop and enhance our employer offer, including wellbeing initiatives, awareness sessions and inclusive workplace training.
• Build relationships with local and national employers to create inclusive employment opportunities.
• Advise on Access to Work, assistive technology, health disclosures and retention strategies.
• Work collaboratively with health professionals, clinical teams and community partners to deliver joined-up support.
• Monitor progress through support reviews and post-placement check-ins to ensure long-term success.

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience in occupational health, vocational rehabilitation, disability employment, HR, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of workplace adjustments, accessibility and inclusive employment practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build confidence and influence employers.
• Experience supporting people with health conditions, disabilities or other barriers to employment.
• Resilient, organised and comfortable managing a caseload in a target-driven environment.
• Knowledge of Access to Work, supported employment approaches and employer engagement.
• Flexible and confident working across community, employer and partnership settings
