At Masdar we have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational H&S Manager. You will be responsible for leading the management of environmental and social (“H&S”) studies for Projects, and providing supporting services for compliance and performance aspects during Mega project delivery and asset management.
Responsibilities not limited to;
Job-Specific Skills:
•Knowledge of renewable energy and traditional energy industry
•Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills leading to a consultative approach within a corporate
/ multifunctional environment
•Strong understanding of the complexity and challenges of driving/building a project delivery culture
•Knowledge of latest H&S trends
•Knowledge of working in line with the requirements of international financial institutions e.g. World Bank, AfDB, Equator Principles and specifically the IFC Performance Standards
•Strong research and analytical skills
•Ability to prioritize actions and manage external consultants
•Ability to connect the innovation strategy with the business strategy
