Job Description

The Occupational Health Manager shall be responsible for overall management, coordination, and oversight of all medical care provided on all onsite clinic branches of PMFTC Inc.
The Occupational Health Manager shall work together with the OH Teams represented by each Onsite ACTIVEONE Clinics and PMFTC Inc. in the development and improvement of quality Clinic services and Wellness programs. The OHM plays a pivotal role in overseeing clinical case management across assigned healthcare facilities. This includes evaluating and managing patient cases, initiating appropriate referrals to specialists, ensuring the delivery of quality care, and maintaining regulatory compliance. The role integrates clinical expertise with administrative responsibilities such as audits, case reviews, documentation, and adherence to health-related laws and policies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

I. Leadership and Executive Function

• Serve as a clinical liaison between company management, client representatives, and external medical networks.
• Demonstrates leadership, strong initiative, and possesses excellent critical thinking and strategic planning skills.
• Must be data-driven and highly competent in generating, analyzing, and presenting reports.
• Support training and performance evaluation of clinic-based healthcare staff. Shall manage and monitor activities of the OH team to ensure quality services and encourage special certifications, trainings, delivery of education programs for onsite clinic OH Teams when appropriate.
• Coordinate with third-party providers or HMOs regarding patient care and case endorsement.
• Engage with stakeholders as needed to gather feedback, provide updates, and ensure project alignment.
• Shall be involved in the development, evaluation and review or the policies and procedures pertaining to occupational health
• Shall participate in the health and safety committee activities and meetings and continue to improve professional development through continuing education.
• Shall conduct clinic visits and walkthroughs and give appropriate recommendations.
• Shall be responsible in collection and collation of required reports and ensure timely submission of complete and substantial data analysis and recommendation.• Shall act as the primary coordinator and auditor in facilitating communication, compliance, and reporting between PMFTC Inc. and ActiveOne.
• Shall agrees to observe the shifting schedule as determined in accordance with PMFTC’s working hours, provided that such schedule remains within the scope of the agreed working hours under this Agreement. Any adjustment or offsetting of work hours shall be subject to the prior written approval of the Security and Safety Market Manager.

II. Medical Audit and Quality Oversight

• Conduct regular audits of clinical documentation and treatment protocols.
• Ensure medical records meet ethical, legal, and institutional standards.
• Identify gaps in medical care or protocol deviations and initiate corrective actions.
• Review and investigate incident reports, adverse events, or patient complaints.
III. Compliance and Legal Adherence

• Ensure compliance with national and local healthcare regulations (e.g., DOH, PhilHealth, PRC, PCOM).
• Implement data privacy protocols and safeguard patient confidentiality (per Data Privacy Act).
• Align clinic practices with occupational safety and health standards (DOLE/OSHC regulations).
• Support implementation of healthcare accreditation standards (e.g., ISO, PhilHealth Benchbook).
IV. Health Program Development and Reporting

• Shall develop and promote occupational health wellness programs based on employee profile, APE results, ECUs, and disease prevention.
• Submit timely and accurate medical reports to internal departments and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate in interdepartmental and multidisciplinary meetings when needed.
